Terms of use

The rules for using Eagle Dream Timesheets. They are short on purpose: the contract between you, or your company, and Eagle Dream remains the main agreement.

1. The service

Eagle Dream Timesheets, at timesheets.eagledream.pt, is the service in which consultants working with Eagle Dream record their time and expenses each month, the client approves them, and Eagle Dream follows up invoicing and payment. It is provided by Eagle Dream Lda., Rua da Garça Real 15, 2890-351 São Francisco, Portugal, tax number PT515064971 ("Eagle Dream", "we").

These terms apply to everyone who uses the service: consultants, client approvers and client portal users. By signing in, or by opening an approval link, you accept them. They add to the contract between you, or your company, and Eagle Dream; where the two differ, the contract prevails.

2. Access

Access is by invitation only. A sign-in is personal: do not share it, choose a strong password, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

An approval link sent by email is personal to the approver named on the contract. Anyone who has the email can decide in the approver's name, so it must not be forwarded.

We may suspend or remove access when an engagement ends, when it is no longer needed, or when the service is misused.

3. If you are a consultant

You record your own work truthfully and completely: the days or hours you actually worked on the contract, and the expenses you actually incurred for it, each with a genuine receipt where one is asked for.

By submitting a month you declare that it is correct. A submitted month is locked; if it needs changing, the approver rejects it or Eagle Dream reopens it.

After approval you upload your own invoice for that month. The invoice must be yours, must agree with the approved timesheet, and each invoice covers one month only. The expected payment date shown is calculated from the payment term in your contract and is given for information; your contract decides when payment is due.

4. If you approve for a client

You confirm that you are entitled to approve the work for your organisation on that contract.

By approving a month you confirm, for your organisation, that the work and expenses shown were performed and are accepted. The approval is recorded with your name, the date and time and the address of your connection, and is the basis on which Eagle Dream invoices.

An approval is final in the service. If you later find a mistake, request a rejection in the portal or write to Eagle Dream; a month that has already been invoiced is corrected by agreement, not in the service.

5. Records

The service keeps a record of each month: the time, the expenses and receipts, who submitted and who decided, and when. On approval it stores an approval document that is not changed afterwards. Eagle Dream, the consultant and the client may rely on these records as evidence of what was submitted and approved.

The service sends emails that belong to its operation: approval requests, decisions, invitations and, where switched on, reminders. They are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while you use the service.

6. Confidentiality

What you see in the service is confidential: rates, amounts, names, timesheets, receipts and invoices. Use it only for the engagement it belongs to and do not pass it on, except inside your own organisation to people who need it for that engagement, or where the law requires it.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to reach data that is not yours, to get around the access controls, to disrupt the service, or to upload anything unlawful or harmful. Upload only the documents the service asks for: receipts and your own invoices.

8. Availability and changes

We keep the service running and secure with reasonable care, but we do not promise that it is available without interruption or free of errors. If it is unavailable, tell us and send your timesheet or approval by email instead.

We may change the service and these terms. The version and date at the top show the last revision; if a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or in the service. Continuing to use the service means you accept the revised terms.

9. Personal data

How we handle personal data in the service, who receives it and what your rights are is set out in our privacy policy at eagledream.pt/privacy.

10. Liability

The service is a tool that supports the contract between you, or your company, and Eagle Dream. What each party owes the other, including fees, payment and liability, is governed by that contract. To the extent the law allows, Eagle Dream is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the service, or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction, unless your contract with Eagle Dream says otherwise.
